The Fountain Gate Sports Awards is an annual event that recognizes the outstanding achievements and contributions of athletes, coaches, and teams in the Fountain Gate community.
The awards ceremony typically features several categories, including Sports Person of the Year, Junior Sports Person of the Year, Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, and more.
The event is an excellent opportunity to celebrate the excellence and hard work of local athletes and coaches, and to bring the community together to support and encourage them.
This year’s event was held on the 20th of May 2023 with the Guest of Honor being Mr. Hamis Mwijuma alias Mwana FA, the current Assistant Minister for Sports in Tanzania.
Also, present at the event were government officials, former sports personnel and Tanzania Football Federation officials.
The night ended with the nominees being awarded and also celebrated for their exemplary performance.
